At Lincoln County Crisis Solutions, our mission is to provide immediate support for individuals in crisis.
We provide services for victims of domestic violence, who are in danger and must leave where they are staying to remain safe. Victims may bring their dependents, e.g., children, disabled adults and elders into shelter with them.
Our crisis line is 406-293-3223 and is available 24 hours a dey, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to call to come into shelter or talk. (We live in a remote county with areas of non-cell coverage so if you call don't get an answer please leave a message and we will call you back when we are back in cell service. If it is not safe for us to call you back, leave a message saying when you think you can call back so we don't miss you again.
We have multiple domestic violence shelters in Lincoln County, all in confidential locations, The shelters are fully furnished with linens, beds, cribs, kitchens, living rooms over the air TV channels, air conditioning, heating, washer and dryer, toiletries, clothing and food. Please note there is no internet at the shelters. Also, it is not possible to house pets, though we may be able to partner with volunteers to foster your pet, allowing you to come visit, etc. until you are out of shelter.
We are an ALL volunteer organization with funds for the crisis lines, shelters and client expenses coming from local donations.
Services that we may be able to offer victims include advocacy with law enforcement, landlords, schools, help with obtaining federal and state benefits, advocacy with legal forms such as order of protection, parenting plans, etc. We strive to also provide transportation to court, hospital, doctor's offices, government benefit offices, grocery and drug stores.
